LAWRENCE LeBOGUE

Born: ABOUT 1747 in: Annapolis, MD (USA) or NS (Canada)
Died: 5 Jun 1795 in: Plymouth, Devon, England
Occupation: Bounty Sailmaker
The sailmaker was an older man, at 40, and a native of either Canada or the USA, he had served with Bligh on the 'Britannia'.
He remained quite friendly to him. During the voyage of the Launch, he appears to have sided with Bligh in the disputes with Fryer.
Many years after, he was encountered by a member of the Bligh family.
When asked about the Bounty, his response was 'Damn me, I never think about the ship'.
